This groundbreaking innovation is designed to eliminate the necessity of a dedicated room or separate space for housing the battery racks. In essence, Yotta Energy delivers a more efficient and space-saving solar array for homes. But they didn’t stop just there. Yotta Energy has incorporated a passive cooling system that maintains the batteries at an optimal working temperature range of 21 C to 38 C – a remarkable feat in itself!
Yotta Energy’s innovative package includes the SolarLEAF SL-1000, a 1 kWh solid-state thermally-regulated lithium-iron-phosphate battery. Complementing this is their three-phase DPI-208 or DPI-480 microinverters. These are designed to be integrated into rooftop racking, which can then secure individual solar panels directly above the batteries. This is an advantageous design for solar companies looking at easy installation and integration, bringing solar panels for your home into more accessible reach.
These recent advancements see Yotta Energy eyeing commercial rooftops as a “huge untapped” market for their energy solutions. To ensure seamless installation and integration for their clients, they offer extensive planning, design, review, and financial backing, thereby cutting down the complexities often faced in this market.
Notably, the company has already clocked remarkable accomplishments, with several installations in Texas and California, and approval for nationwide installations. According to Yotta’s vice president of sales, they’ve installed about 25 MW of storage-ready sites using their microinverters. They currently have battery installations across California and five other states, indicating their spreading footprint and growing appeal in the solar industry.
An added value for customers includes Yotta’s battery management software, YottaVision2.0. It’s designed not just to store and display performance and monitoring data, but also incorporates features such as mapping visualization to localize system events and computer-aided design file formats.
