ENERGY REVOLUTION: NEW YORK DOUBLES DOWN ON SOLAR STORAGE
Recently, the New York State Public Service Commission approved a brilliant new framework, which encourages the solar industry to set a gargantuan goal of installing 6 GW of energy storage by 2030. This new goal represents an impressive 20% of the peak electricity load of New York State, signifying a vitally comprehensive drive towards a renewable and solar-powered future.
Initially, the original Energy Storage Order of 2018 had targeted 3 GW of energy storage.
