Hello everyone! I am excited to share some latest happenings from the ever-evolving solar industry. As someone who closely follows the who’s who of the solar sector and the shifts among solar companies, it’s been a notable week.
Some key leadership changes popped up on my radar, starting with Standard Solar. They have promoted two of their key leaders – Megan Byrn to Vice President of Business Development and Jeri Lawson to Vice President of Human Resources. Having followed their journey passionately, I am eagerly looking forward to their next chapters.
In another important update, SunPower, a prominent name when it comes to solar panels for your home, announced Tom Werner as their Executive Chair of the board. Mr. Werner adds substantial weight to this role with his previous 18-year-long tenure as CEO and Chairman at SunPower.
Nova Clean Energy didn’t sit idly either. They welcomed Dylan Reeves as their new Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations. With his vast experience in delivering over 3.5 GWs of wind power in the U.S., I’m sure Nova Clean Energy will further bolster its core operations.
There have been many more transitions happening in the solar industry that keep me on my toes. For instance, Alex Couture got promoted to Senior Vice President of North American Development at Innergex, while Nathan Knapke began a new chapter as Director of Project Development at Navisun.
The solar realm has its doors open, continuously seeking talent. EnergeiaWorks, a leading renewable energy search firm, is looking for a Field Applications Engineer based in Dallas, TX. The position requires a solid understanding of solar PV and energy storage technology, and comes with exciting perks including a remote/hybrid working opportunity, along with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
Staying up-to-date in this fast-paced solar industry is essential. Solar array for home or commercial use is a budding direction where plenty of development and creative innovations are noted frequently. It’s an exciting time for any enthusiast to aid in building a more sustainable future powered by renewable energy!
In my next post, we’ll examine some of the emerging solar companies that are creating waves in the industry with new technology and innovation. Stay tuned, and as always, ‘let the sun shine’ on all of us! Remember, choosing solar is not only a choice for a sustainable future, but also a smart financial move for your home or business.
