This partnership has seen the installation of a whopping 17,000 solar modules on a considerable 35 acres of non-productive land. These solar modules are made up of Hanwha Q Peak Duo 400 W and REC380 solar panels. It serves to offset an estimated 8 million pounds of carbon every year, akin to planting 60,735 trees!
Designed to offset 73% of Wyman’s energy use, this solar project is a testament to Wyman’s commitment not only as a significant player in providing healthy blueberries but also for their concerted efforts in promoting clean and sustainable energy. This project will leverage net energy billing credits, which essentially credits back Wyman’s for every kilowatt-hour generated through their solar array.
